Animal Husbandry And Veterinary Science Colleges
Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science is a branch of science and it deals with the raising and breeding of livestock. Veterinarians or veterinary surgeons are physicians for animals and are better known as vets. The name has its origin from Latin language some 350 years back. The veterinarians are playing a great role for our society by curing the ill animals. They look after the treatment of the pet as well as wild animals and thus are an important part of our society. Hence a major importance has been given for the educating students in this field.
Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science courses are provided by number of institutions in India. This course is not amongst the other courses which are desired by the students, but there are some students who love animals and want to take up this course. The colleges have excellent faculty staffs and infrastructure for training the students under this course. The colleges also conducts entrance exam for taking admissions of the meritorious students.
