Ayurveda Colleges

Ayurveda is a branch of medical science which has its existence from very ancient times. Over a very long period the people of India has used the essence of Ayurveda for the treatment of ill people, but with the development of modern form of medical science and technology, the Ayurveda has lost its past glory, importance and original form. It has become an alternative for the modern medical science.

The contributions of Charaka and Sushruta, the pioneers in this field, have been forgotten and Ayurveda is completely ignored, which has led to the deterioration of this form of medical science. There are some colleges which have kept alive the spirit of Ayurveda by offering Ayurveda courses to the desiring students. These colleges are teaching its students the various forms of Ayurvedic treatment and are trying to revive the glory of Ayurveda.
