Biophysics is the branch of science which involves the application of the principles of physics to study the various fields of Biology. Some of the fields where Biophysics finds its application are Bioengineering, Biochemistry, Nanotechnology, system biology and enzyme kinetics or structural biology. This also shows vastness of this field and its research.
Biophysics applies the principles and facts of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry to explore the various mysteries of life. A Biophysicists works on the facts like how the brain processes impulses, the working of the heart, how certain chemicals activates certain genes to fight against diseases, how solar energy activates plants to synthesize their own food and many other similar facts of our day to day life.
