Electronics And Communication Engineering Colleges

Electronics Engineering is one of the disciplines of engineering which involves the testing and designing of the electronic circuits through which a particular function is realized by using the properties of the components such as capacitors, inductors, resistors, diodes and transistors. An example of such an electronic circuit in which these components are used to realize a certain function is Tuned Circuit which is used by the radio user to filter out all, but one station.

In the early days i.e. before the days of First World War Electronics engineering was very much limited to the fields of radar and communication, commercial radio and early Television and was known as Radio Engineering. When the war ended, the field of Electronics expanded with the development of consumer devices and included computers, microprocessors, modern televisions and audio systems. Slowly and slowly with the development in this field the name radio engineering was eclipsed by Electronics Engineering in the year 1950 and after that it is known throughout the world by this name only.
