Master in Computer Application (MCA) has become hot favorite among the students who have completed their Graduation in any of the discipline. After completing their Bachelor’s Course students look for a Master’s course which will make them skilled in the subject of their desire and what better option than MCA is there for the computer loving students. In MCA course one get skilled and trained in computational programming, algorithm, database management and various other related fields.

Seeing the huge number of students opting for MCA courses every year, a huge number of MCA colleges has come up. This has not stopped yet and every now and then a new MCA Institute comes up and provides MCA course to the MCA aspirants. MCA is a 3 year course and is divided into 6 semesters.

For taking admission into any of the MCA Colleges students have to appear for an entrance exam. Entrance exams are conducted by the individual institutes as well as are conducted on a national level (AIMCET). The question paper contains MCQs +2 Mathematics, Mental Ability and English comprehension. Some colleges also set Short and long answer type questions in addition to MCQs. Some MCA colleges also take Personal Interview and Group Discussion of the selected candidates only after which they are allowed admission.
