The duration of this course is 5 and half years, which includes 4 and half years of classroom study and 1 year of rotating internship. Total duration of 4 and half years is divided into three phases of 18 months each; these 18 months are again subdivided into three semesters of six months each. To judge the competency and knowledge of the students, an exam is slotted at the end of every semester and one at the end of every phase; clinical and practical exams are also conducted.
