Recently the word ‘Nano” created much of a hula-hoop. Thanks to the TATA, the premier car making company of the country, and some politicians, most of the layman came face to face with one of the burning and the most talked about word. Steering it away from the automobile sector and putting it on to the educational field, you would come to know that it has larger implications and holds a better credit and we call it Nanotechnology.
Without any hint of hesitation, nanotechnology is rising as the hottest and the fastest growing career option in the country. It is basically a study of structure and systems at a much smaller level, 10 to the power minus 9, which is not even visible to naked eyes. Amazing, isn’t! Besides, the application and scope of nanotechnology is such that, experts and scientists believe that we are about to enter into a new age, nano age.
