Aeronautical Engineering Entrance Exam

Aeronautical engineering, a branch of aerospace engineering, deals with the design and construction of aircrafts and spacecrafts. In fact designing and construction of spacecrafts comes under Astronautical engineering.  Aeronautical engineering deals with the crafts which stays within Earth’s atmosphere i.e. aircrafts while Astronautical engineering deals with the crafts which operates in space viz. outside Earth’s atmosphere i.e. spacecrafts.

Modern aircrafts and spacecrafts passes through severe conditions like heavy structural load, differences in temperature, difference in pressure etc. Hence, an Aeronautical engineer has to use different technologies like avionics, propulsion, materials science and aerodynamics. The manufacturing and development of aircrafts demands compromise and careful balance between design, abilities, available costs and technology.

Galore of colleges in India provide Aeronautical Engineering course to the desiring and at the same time meritorious students. Entrance exams are conducted for the admissions under this course, but only few get the chance of studying Aeronautical engineering because of the limited number of seats available in these colleges. Hence, a candidate has to secure a good rank in the entrance exam in order to get admission under this course.
