Electronics And Communication Engineering Entrance Exam

Electronics engineering deals with the designing and testing of the electronic circuits which uses the properties of the components like resistors, inductors, capacitors, transistors and diodes to realize a particular functionality. One such example of an electronic circuit is the Tuned circuit with he help of which a radio user can filter out all the stations except a single station.

Before the Second World War, this subject was known by the name of radio engineering and was basically limited to the aspects of radar and communication, early television and commercial radio. After the war with the development of consumer devices, the field expanded and included audio systems, modern television, microprocessors and computers. In the later half of 1950, radio engineering took the name of electronics engineering.

Nowadays electronic circuits are constructed with the help of Integrated Circuits (IC) which has allowed us to build powerful computers and many other electronic devices. There are various colleges in India which provide this course to the desiring students, a list of which is given below.
