Homeopathy Entrance Exam
Homeopathy is a complementary and alternative form of Medicine. Homeopathy was developed by Samuel Hahnemann, a German Physician, in the latter half of 18th century. Based on the philosophy that the emotions, body and mind are not distinct, but are integrated, the homeopath finds a solution which is suitable for the physical and psychological symptoms of the patient. The most amazing thing about the homeopathy is that it has no side effects on the patient’s body.
Homeopathy education has gained too much importance in India and has become one of the favorite career options. A large number of students are opting for the Homeopathic Studies. The Homeopathy courses have two main courses, graduate degree course which is of 5 ½ years duration which also includes 1 year internship and DHMS which a 4 year course. The eligibility criteria for both the courses are 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
There are galore of colleges in India which are offering degree, masters and diploma courses in Homeopathy. Nearly there are 186 homeopathic medical colleges spread across the different corners of the different states of India. For admission into any of the Homeopathy colleges students have to appear for an entrance exam and clear it with a good rank.
