Instrumentation Engineering Entrance Exam

Instrumentation Engineering is the branch of engineering which specializes in the principle and operation of the instruments which are used for measurements. These measuring instruments are used in configuration and design of the automated systems used in pneumatic, electrical domains etc. They normally work for the industries with automated processes, like manufacturing or chemical plants. The goal is to improve system productivity, safety, stability, optimization and reliability. For controlling the parameters in a particular system or in a process PLC’s, Micro controllers, Microprocessors etc. are used, but the ultimate aim which is to be achieved is to control the system parameters.

Instrumentation Engineers, mechanics, technologists and technicians are specialized in repairing and troubleshooting instruments and instrumentation systems. This field is very much intertwined with pipefitters, power engineers, electricians and engineering companies and it may happen that at any point of time one can find themselves in extremely diverse working situations.

Instrumentation Engineering is available in various colleges of India under the name of Instrumentation engineering as well as Production and Instrumentation engineering. These colleges conducts entrance exam for the admissions in their college. So a student has to appear for the entrance exam a secure a good rank for getting admitted in any of these colleges
