MCA Entrance Exam

If anyone wants to pursue higher studies and has completed his/her BCA or Graduation in any other discipline, he/she may opt for MCA i.e. Master of Computer Application courses. MCA is a 3 year full time degree course which is generally divided into 6 semesters. Taking up Master of Computer Application as your master’s degree course you will get skilled in computational programming, theory, design, algorithm, database management, and many other fields which are related to this course.

To get admission into any of the MCA colleges you have to appear for entrance exams. Galore of Institutes are there which provide MCA courses and conduct their own entrance exam for filling their MCA seats. Some MCA entrance exams are also there which are conducted on an all India basis. One such exam is AIMCET (All India Entrance of MCA).

The pattern of the MCA entrance exam is same as that of the other entrance exams. The questions asked in the exams are of MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) types, but there are some universities which follow their own exam pattern and set long-answer type, short-answer type and objective type questions. The question comprises English Comprehension, +2 Mathematics and Mental Ability. Candidates who want to pursue MCA course needs to clear any of the MCA entrance tests with flying colors because the seats are limited and the number of candidates applying for the same is more.
