Mechanical Engineering Entrance Exam

Mechanical engineering is one of the disciplines of Engineering and it involves the application of physics for design, manufacturing, analysis and maintenance of the mechanical systems. This Engineering discipline is one of the broadest and oldest disciplines of Engineering. For studying Mechanical engineering an in depth understanding of the concepts of mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, kinetics and energy is required.

Mechanical Engineers applies the core concepts and other principles related to this field to analyze and design aircraft, motor vehicles, watercrafts, cooling and heating systems, industrial machineries and equipments, manufacturing plants, medical devices, robotics and many other things.

The fundamental mechanical engineering subjects are dynamics and statics, measurement and instrumentation, fluid dynamics and fluid mechanics, solid mechanics and strength of materials, thermodynamics, pneumatics and hydraulics, mechanism design, engineering design, material engineering, control theory and Mechatronics etc.
