Polymer Engineering Entrance Exam

Polymer engineering is a discipline of engineering which analyses, modifies and designs polymer materials.  The different aspects covered by Polymer engineering are petrochemical industry, properties of polymers, description of major polymers, characterization and structure of polymers, processing and compounding of polymers and polymerization.

Polymer engineering is an important branch of engineering and special care has been taken for proper education of the students taking up this course. Though, not much response is seen amongst the students regarding Polymer engineering course, but the polymer engineers are really in demand in Automobile and Aerospace industries. Both of these industries use composite materials for constructing monocoque structures for automobiles and aerospace.

Candidates who are willing to pursue this course have to appear for an entrance exam which is conducted on a national as well as state level by the different colleges, which provides this course. The entrance exam consists of Multiple Choice Questions from Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. Candidates are only eligible to appear for the entrance exam if they fulfill all the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the colleges or Universities. A candidate has to score a minimum cut-off mark as set up the examination body in order to clear the entrance exam.
