Unani Entrance Exam
Unanipathy i.e. Unani system of Medicine was originated in Greece. It was earlier known as ‘Galenic’. Unani System of medicine was introduced in India some 10 decades back when Islamic civilization was spreading through out India. Unanipathy has a impressive track record in India and has now become a part of Indian Medicine system. Unanipathy is more or less very similar to our Ayurveda. India lies amongst the leading countries of the world as far as Unani system of medicine practice is concerned.
Unani system of medicine established that the symptoms are the reactions produced by the body against the diseases. Unanipathy says that the proper health can be maintained by conserving balance in the various spheres of a man’s life. a person who practices Unani system of medicine not only cures the bodily diseases, but they also do the job of an ethical instructor.
There are more than 25 colleges in India which are offering Unani Medical and Surgery courses to the desiring candidates. The courses offered by these colleges are a Bachelors degree of 5 ½ years and 3 years MD in Unani medical sciences. Admissions in these colleges are through an entrance exam which is conducted by the individual colleges. Only permanent residents of a particular state are eligible to appear for the exam and take admission in any of the state colleges which are providing Unani Courses.
