Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) a well known medical college known for its excellence in education and research was established in 1962 in Pune. You can be a part of this honorable institute but before that you have to give an entrance exam. AFMC is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik and is considered amongst the top notch medical institutes of the country. The total duration of MBBS is 4 and half years with an added one year of internship training. This internship is mandatory for both undergraduate and post-graduate medical students.
The candidate has to give a written test of 2 hours which includes subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Intelligence, Logic, and Reasoning and English language. As soon as the results are out of the written test, the qualified candidates are then called for an interview in the month of June.

The application form can be acquired by paying the required amount from the specified General/Head/Central/Main Post offices or from the AFMC, Pune by simple sending a draft made from any nationalized bank.

Result declaration: At the end of May or first week of June
Eligibility Criteria
You can appear in the following medical entrance if you have passed 10+2 or any equivalent exam with the recognized board. The minimum requirement of marks is 60% in total or 50% in each of the science subjects and not less than 50% in English. Also, the candidate must have passed in Maths at the 10th level at least.
