ASSAM JAT 2010
Assam Joint Admission Test or Assam JAT is held by Director of Technical Education, Assam for admission into various UG courses in the Engineering, medical, dental, ayurvedic colleges of the state as well as in the NIT, Guwahati quota.
Assam JAT asks questions of MCQ type from Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Maths with 100 marks paper for each subject. The syllabus is of +2 levels.
Application Form
Application form of Assam JAT is available only to the local resident of the states. Even candidates opting for admission to the Regional Engineering College have to apply separately to Principal, Regional Engineering College, Silchar, in addition to appearing in Joint Admission Test.

Eligibility
The first and foremost eligibility criterion to appear in Assam JAT is that the student must be a resident of the state and at least 17 years old as on 31st December the respective year. The candidate must pass his or her 10+2 from any recognized university or board with Physics, chemistry, Biology, Maths and English from the state of Assam. The candidate must possess a 50% marks for general category or at least 40 % for SC/ST category.
