BCECE 2010
The Common Entrance Test (CET) of the state of Bihar i.e. Bihar CET is conducted by BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board). The exam is conducted for admissions in the Medical, Engineering and Agricultural courses. Bihar CET or BCECE was initiated in accordance with Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Act 1995 by the Government of Bihar.
Reservation of seats for SC/ST and OBC are also there. Some seats are also reserved for the permanent residents of the state of Bihar. Bihar Institute of technology (BIT), Sindri takes admission of the domicile candidates and children of the employees of Tata Iran & Steel Company only.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should have cleared their 10+2 exam or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, mathematics or Biology from any of the recognized institution. There is no age limit for the Engineering stream, but for medical and Agriculture the candidates should have attained a minimum age of 17 years. For SC/ST candidates the upper age limit is 5 years less than the general candidates.
Examination Pattern
The exam is held in two groups, PCM group (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics along with biology) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with Mathematics). The candidates have to mention their choice of group while filling in the application form.
