CBEE or Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination is an entrance examination which is conducted in order to provide admission to candidates in various streams such as MSc, MAgri, and M.tech courses in biotechnology, in a list of colleges and universities that take part in it. Biotechnology, being one of the most emerging and most blooming branches of this modern era is attracting a lot of people towards itself. Thus we get a huge number of colleges all over the country offering different types of courses in Biotechnology. The examination is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru University.
The examination pattern of the Combined Biotechnology Entrance examination is set keeping in mind that the candidates are going to study which kind of courses. The pattern is specifically made in order to test the knowledge and grip of the candidates over their subject.
Sale Of application Form:
The application form can be collected from any of the institute participating in this entrance examination. The form can also be availed by post from the Jawaharlal Nehru University. The form is available from the first week of February and is available till the mid of March.
Cost:
The application form if taken in person costs Rs 200 and if taken by post costs Rs 260. The form can be availed from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi.

The courses that are offered in these colleges are MSc, MAgri, M.Tech in Biotechnology.
Important Dates:
The Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination generally holds in the mid of the month of May.
Eligibility:
The eligibility criteria are bachelors degree with 10 + 2+ 3 pattern for MSc course, and 10+ 2+ 3/4/5 for MAgri course, and a B.Tech or B>E degree with 60 per cent equivalent marks in any of the required branches of Engineering.
