CLAT 2010
National Law Universities holds the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for admission into the eleven national law university for the under graduate course of LL.M according to their seniority. Four Regional Universities also admits students on basis of their CLAT scores. It is a 200 marks and 2 hours examination for UG as well as PG candidates with a change in pattern of the question paper.
The question paper contains objective type questions on General Knowledge, English language, basic Mathematics, logical and legal reasoning.
Application Form
The Application Forms of CLAT are distributed from Indian Bank, State Bank of India and eleven National Law Schools. The addresses of the branches of banks are available on the website. It can also be downloaded from the website. Candidates who wish to apply as Foreign Nationals are required to look into the instructions carefully and use the Application Form provided for the specific purpose on CLAT website.

Rs 2000/- (for SC/ ST/ OBC)

Date of CLAT Examination- Second week of January
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant is considered eligible for CLAT only if he/ she is an Indian Citizen, Passes the higher secondary exam with 50% (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC). Within an age limit of 20 years a candidate is qualified to apply.
