DUMET 2010
For the aspiring students who are willing to make their future in the field of medical have many opportunities. They can have admission in well known medical colleges purely on the basis of merit and performance in the entrance exams which are conducted by most of the Institutions to facilitate impartial admission. University of Delhi Medical/Dental Entrance Test (DUMET) or Delhi University Pre-Medical Test (DPMT) is amongst the one of them. This exam is conducted every year for admission to MBBS and BDS courses offered by many colleges which are under the DU.
To be a part of medical colleges under DU, you have to give a single entrance exam which consists of two papers. In first paper you have to solve Physics and Chemistry and second paper deals with Botany and Zoology.
Sale of Application Form
The application form along with the brochure of information can be obtained by the candidates by paying a crossed demand draft of the required amount from any nationalized bank at the appropriate address. The filled form must reach the address on or before the stipulated time.

Important dates
Application form availability: Third week of March
Last date for submission of complete filled-in application form: First week of April
Entrance Date: Mid of May
Result declaration: Last of May-First week of June
Eligibility criteria
For the candidate to seek admission in medical at DU need to have pass 10+2 from a recognized board having Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as one of their subjects. The candidates need to pass in the individual subjects and must have a minimum of 50% in total and SC/ST candidates need to secure 40% only.
