FMT 2010
Finance Management Test is held by Calcutta University every year for admission of students in the course of MBA or Masters of Business Administration in Finance. This two year course is being held by the department of Commerce, Calcutta University. It also offers PhD degrees in management, accounts and finance.
The selection procedure is entirely based on the written exam followed by a round of Group discussion and personal interview.
Application Form
Application for FMT are available from the Calcutta University Sales Counter, Asutosh Building, Kolkata 700 073 on the date mentioned below by person on payment of cash. The information brochure and the forms can also be downloaded from the website of the university and fees has to be paid in DD in favor of Co-ordinator, MBA in Finance, University of Calcutta at the time of submission of the forms. The applied form must be submitted at the Ashutosh building office within the last date.

For general candidates-Rs 500/-
For SC/ ST/ OBC – Rs 200/-
Important Dates
Distribution of Forms- throughout the month of June
Date of Exam- Third week of July
Eligibility
A students applying for the FMT is considered eligible if he or she has a Bachelor’s degree from any of the recognized university of AIU with honors in Art/ Science or Commerce or in Engineering/ medical/ professional courses. The candidate must also secure a minimum of 50% marks in the respective course. Final year students may also apply subjected to the score scored in final semester. There’s no age limit.
