HP-CMAT 2010
HP-CMAT is a common admission Test for admission of the students in the various colleges of Himachal Pradesh for the course of MBA or Masters in Business Administration, a post graduation course in the field. It is conducted by the University of Himachal Pradesh. Various specialization courses offered in MBA from HP-CMAT are MBA (IMS), HP University, Shimla, MBA (Agribusiness), Dr. YS Parmar University, Solan and other MBA programs of other all private institutes affiliated to HP University.
The admission is solely based on the HPCMAT exam followed by a round of group discussions and personal interview. The written exam of consists of four sections in the aptitude test with each section containing about 50 questions from English Comprehension, Reasoning, Business Environment, Arithmetic Comprehension & Data Interpretation.
Application Form
Application form and information brochure are distributed from the institute via post or via person on cash payment of appropriate fees at the Institute counters.

For SC/ ST candidate- Rs 250/-
Postal charges extra- Rs 50/-
Important Dates
Date of distribution of form- last week of March
Last date of submission of form- second week of May
Date of HPCMAT exam- June first week
Declaration of results- Second week of June
Eligibility
The applicant is considered eligible to apply only if he/ she is a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
Admission is done on the performance and score of the candidate in HP-CMAT, Application Rating, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Final year students can also apply.
