JMET 2010
JMET or Joint Management Entrance Test is the first step that allows candidates a chance to get a chance of studying Post-Graduate Programmes in Management that are offered by IISC Bangalore, IIT Roorkee, IIT Mumbai, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati and IIT Madras.
Candidates have to first appear for the written test and after the results for JMET are out, the selected candidates will then need to apply separately for the different institutes and would then be granted admission based on the interviews conducted by the individual colleges.

Important Dates: The examination is held in month of December.
Eligibility
Candidates applying for JMET should have a degree in B.Tech, B.E or any equivalent engineering with a minimum percentage of 60% or a CGPA of 6.5 from a recognized university. Students in their final years too can apply for the test. Candidates with a Master’s degree from a selected university or college can also apply for the test.
