JNU MCA 2010
The Jawaharlal Nehru University or JNU conducts the MCA admission test to admit students in their MCA courses based on their performances in the admission test. In this three year course the student can build up a complete theoretical as well as practical background in the field of computer science and application to satisfy the increasing need of manpower in automatic computing. The university has placed its students in companies like IBM, CSC, Flextronics, Siemens, HP, Parot Systems, CSG, Accenture, Cadence, GE Caps, etc. It also has trained students from foreign universities in the field of Computer Science.
The entrance examination consists of MCQ type questions from the syllabus of Computer Organization, C Language, Fundamentals of Computer, Elements of Data Structures, trigonometry, Statistics, Probability, Modern algebra, Matrix, Real Analysis, Numerial Analysis, Logical Ability, Calculus and Analytical Geometry, Differential Equations.

Application Forms for JNU MCA can be procured by post by writing to the Assistant registrar of admission and by paying subsequent fees as draft in favor of Jawaharlal Nehru University payable at New Delhi.

General Category- Rs 220/-(1 field), Rs 430/-(2 fields), Rs. 600/- (3 fields)
SC/ST/PH- Rs. 110/-(1 field), Rs. 215/-(2 fields) and Rs. 300/-(3 fields)

Eligibility Criteria
The JNU MCA applicant must be a graduate with bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects with 55% aggregate in 10+2+3. The candidate must be of 22 years of age on the respective year and an Indian citizen. Foreign Nationals must apply specifically.
