KEAM 2010
Kerela entrance examination for admission to Medical/agriculture/Veterinary/engineering/architecture is an entrance exam conducted for the admission in various trades and streams mentioned above, in Kerela. Many good as well as reputed colleges come under this examination. Clearing this entrance exam, a candidate can get admission in few of the best and advanced institute in the states.
KEAM has under its belt various medical, engineering, agricultural, and architecture colleges. These colleges, being in Kerela have special emphasis on the education quality. The quality of education is beyond any flaws. Hence KEAM turns out to be a good way towards a great and bright future for many students.
The pattern of the examination comprises of questions in various fields. For engineering courses, questions are from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For Medical, the questions are from physics, chemistry, and biology.
Sale of Application form:
The application form of KEAM is available in all the states as well as in Kerela. The forms are available in State Bank of Travancore. The sale of the form starts from the end week of January to last week of February.
Submission of application form:
The application forms are to be submitted by the last day of the form distribution. Generally it is always a date in the last week of February.
Cost:
For General candidates : Rs 700/-
For ST/SC candidates: Rs 350/-
Important Dates:
The examination of KEAM is held generally in the third week of April. The exams for the engineering and medical courses are held on separate dates.
Eligibility Criteria:
For Medical/agriculture/veterinary/Bsc-Nursing:
The candidates should be at least passed with science stream and should have secured 50 per cent of marks in biology and 50 per cent in Physics Chemistry and Biology together.
For engineering courses:
The candidates should have secured at least 50 per cent in mathematics and 50 percent in mathematics, physics, and chemistry/biotechnology/computer science etc.
For Architecture:
The candidates should have secured at least 50 per cent in mathematics and 50 per cent in aggregate.
