The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Boards held a Pre Engineering test at the state level popularly called MP PET for taking admissions in various streams like Engineering, Pharmacy, Dairy, Agriculture, and Forestry at the graduation degree.  All Government Engineering Colleges, Private Engineering Colleges and Autonomous Institutions of the state take admissions from this entrance Examination.

This is a MCQ type exam with 300marks on each Physics, Chemistry and Maths in English. The syllabus is in accordance with the higher secondary syllabus.

Sale of Application Form

The Application form of the MP PET as well as the information brochure can be bought from any State Engineering Colleges or the Board. It also can be ordered by post by drawing a Demand draft in favor of Controller, Professional Examination Board at Bhopal and should be mailed to the Board Office. The reservation quota is applicable as per government norms and regulations.

Important Dates

Date of Form issue- Last week of April to First week of May
Date of MP PET Exam- First week of June.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be a citizen of India and a bonafide resident of the state. Else the candidate must have studied in Madhya Pradesh for Three years or ward of a central or state government employee. The Applicant must possess a higher secondary degree from a recognized board with Physics Chemistry and Maths as major subjects. These are the essential eligibility of a MP PET applicant.
