MHT-CET 2010
Maharashtra Common Entrance test is conducted by the government of Maharashtra every year for the students of the state of Maharashtra. The examination is conducted for admission in various courses such as MBBS, BTech and various other professional courses. The courses offered under this entrance exam are all degree courses. There are many reputed as well as renounced colleges under the belt of Maharashtra Common entrance test.
The exam pattern of MHT CET is very similar to that of other CET examinations held in different parts of the country. The standard of the questions and the proper distribution of the problems make this exam one of the best oriented.
Sale of Application Form:
The application forms for MHT CET are available at all the Jr colleges and high schools. Also the forms are available at the Divisional Authority. The forms are made available from the mid of the month of March to the end week of March. Although the students aspiring to sit for the examination are pre informed to submit an application for their requirement of the application by the end of the month of February.
Cost:
For outsiders: the cost of the form is Rs 700.
For the constitutionally reserved people, the form costs Rs 500 only.
Courses Offered:
Courses offered under the examination are of Health allies, engineering and Pharmacy etc.
Important dates:
The examination generally holds in the 2nd week to the mid of the month of May.
Eligibility:
The candidates who have passed SSC examination, or have passed 10 + examination are eligible to sit for the Maharashtra common entrance examination. Along with the passing certificate, the candidates also need to produce a domicile certificate for being eligible for the MHT CET.
