NALSAR CLAT 2010

Nalsar Law University, Hyderabad holds the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for admission into eleven national law universities under the under graduate course of LL.M this year. Four Regional Universities also admits students on the basis of their CLAT scores. It is a 200 marks examination for UG as well as PG candidates with a change in pattern of the question paper.

The examination is of two hours duration and the questions are divided into four sections. All together there are 200 questions consisting of questions from General Knowledge, General English and Comprehension, Reasoning and Legal aptitude, short answer questions and essays.

Application Form

The Application Forms of CLAT organized by NALSER are distributed from Indian Bank, State Bank of India and eleven National Law Schools. The addresses of the branches of banks are available on the website. It can also be downloaded from the website. Foreign National candidates are required to look into the instructions carefully and use the Application Form provided for the specific purpose on CLAT website.

By hand/ downloaded from net- Rs 2000/- (for SC/ ST/ OBC), Rs 2500/-(for general category)

Date of Examination- Second week of January

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant is considered eligible for CLAT only if he/ she is an Indian Citizen, and passes the higher secondary exam with 50% (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC). Within an age limit of 20 years a candidate is qualified to apply.
