NCHMCT 2010
National Council of Hotel Management holds an entrance exam for admission to 3-Year B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration. The National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology is under the Tourism Ministry and it constantly endeavoring for the growth and development of the Hospitality Education. The various institutes which are affiliated to NCHMCT are always imparting Hospitality, Skills, Concepts, knowledge and techniques for the students so that they can learn and emerge as a high-quality global Hospitality Service provider.
Sale of Application Form
Application forms for NCHMCT are available from the 2nd week of February till the first week of April from the selected branches of Canara Bank.
Submission of Application form
The duly filled in application form must be submitted by the 2nd week of April after which no forms will be entertained.
Cost
For General/ OBC categories— Rs.850/-
For SC/ST/PH categories— Rs.450/-
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must have passed class 12 exams or its equivalent with English as one of the compulsory subjects. The age limit for the general candidates is 22 years while for SC/St it is 25 years. Candidates must also produce a physical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of admission.
Examination Pattern
The question paper contains questions from Scientific Aptitude and Numerical Ability, Current Affairs & General Knowledge, English Language, Reasoning and Logical Deduction and Aptitude for Service Sector.
Important Dates
Entrance exam: 2nd week of May
Result Declaration: 2nd week of June
Centralized counseling (New Delhi): 3rd week of June
Beginning of Academic Session: 4th week of July
