National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is a name enough, it doesn’t need much introduction. In the world of fashion design NIFT is one of the premier institute established in 1986.It has gained statutory status which enables the Institute to award degrees and other academic distinctions.

An entrance exam is conducted by NIFT for admission to Bachelor Program. The institute is known for producing world class designers and fashions professionals and the one who is able to face this competitive world of professionalism. The candidates who seek admission to this institute have to initially sit for a written test. The successful candidates from the written test are then called for a situation test, group discussion and personal interview.

You can have the form by yourself from any selected branches of AXIS banks across the country by paying the amount and even by post you can get the application form. The filled form has to be sent along with an examination fee at the address they specify in the brochure. An SC/ST candidate needs to attach the certified copy of their caste certificate. Eligibility Criteria

For a Bachelor Degree in Fashion design the candidate must have passed class 12 or any other equivalent exam from a recognized university. For the students from General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
