NITIE 2010
National Institute of Industrial Engineering or NITIE trains the students on materials management, work studies, inventory control, shop floor management and personnel management. The full time PGDIE and Fellow (Doctoral) program course are AICTE approved. The aim of this course is to hone the qualities and expertise the students in the field of industrial operation and management.
Admission to the courses is based on GATE score followed by a round of Group discussion and personal interview conducted by the institute. One has to perform well in this round and GATE is only used for short listing the candidates
Application Form
Application Form and Brochure are issued from the office of Deputy Registrar (academic), NITIE, Vihar Lake, PO NITIE, Mumbai - 400 087 via post. Application should be sent with 4 self addressed sticker and a demand draft drawn in favor of “NITIE Mumbai” payable at Mumbai. Application can be filled online also from the official website of the NITIE.

For general Candidates- Rs 1000/-
For SC/ ST/ PH- Rs 500/-
Important Dates
Last date of issue of form – last week of February
Last date of Form submission- first week of April
Eligibility
The applicant is considered eligible for PGDIE course if he or she has cleared GATE and has a first class graduation degree in the field of Engineering and technology. The FP (D) course is open to the candidates with first class score in master’s degree or equivalent in the field of Engineering /Technology, Social Sciences, Economics, Management, Biological Science or Pure Science.
