NMAT 2010

National Management Aptitude Test or NMAT is conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). The fact that the institute offers good placements makes it a great choice for students interested in pursuing MBA. The location of the institute in the financial capital of India, Mumbai, certainly adds to its advantage.

The format or rather you can say that the selection procedure is quite similar to other MBA entrance exams. All the candidates need to sit for the NMAT test; successful candidates from the written test are then called for a group discussion and personal interview.

Application forms are available from selected branches of DENA Bank and also from NMIMS directly.

Application form submission

Last date for submission of completely filled in application form is 2nd week of November.

The form costs 1600/-.

MBA in Core Programme that offers specializations in International Business, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources & Behavioural Sciences, Information Systems, Operations, Rural Marketing and Advertising and Communications. Other special programs include MBA in Pharmaceuticals Management, Capital Markets, Actuarial Science, Global Business, Retail Management and Services Management.

Important Dates:

The examination is held in the month of December.

Eligibility

Candidates appearing for NMAT have to be a graduate in any discipline and must have secured minimum marks of 50% in their graduation exams. For some of the courses it is necessary for the candidates to have at least two years of experience.
