PMET 2010
There are entrances which are conducted by many states nowadays for admission in various fields. Similarly there is one more entrance exam taken by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot on behalf of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar known as Punjab Medical Entrance Test. This entrance exam is for the candidates to seek admission in any of the medical courses offered by the University.
You have the privilege of taking admission in any of the colleges which fall under the university once you have cleared the entrance exam. The questions in exam are basically from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English of 10+2 level.
Sale of Application Form
The OMR application form which is available along with the prospectus for the PMET can be obtained by the counter at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and also from the branches of Canara Bank by paying the required amount. The filled form need to reach the address before the due date.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidate is eligible if he or she has passed 10+2 level with a recognized board by scoring 50% and in case of SC/ST the score must be 45% in total in PCB and English subjects. This is for admission in MBBS, BDS, BAMS whereas for BHMS the score must be 40% and fro SC/ST 33%.
