Pune University formerly University of Poona provides state of art facility for research in Medical degree at post Graduate level. Pune University provides a lot of opportunity for research in PG medical and teaching. It also provides grand hostel library and internet facility. The Pune University is known for its research activities and has been recognized over 70 research institutions for research.
The entrance exam consists of various questions, divided in three sections. Theses sections are timed separately. The total time is 3 hours. The questions are of various skills, such as Quantitative skills, verbal Skills and analytical reasoning.

Application form for PG Medical or MBBS are available from various University counter as well as on the internet. Applicant can download the form and can be mailed to the institute.

Eligibility
The first and foremost eligibility criterion to appear in the examination is the applicant must be an Indian citizen. They must be at least 17 years old as on 31st December the respective year. The candidate must pass his or her 10+2 from any of the recognized universities or boards with Physics, chemistry, Biology, Maths and English. The candidate must possess a 50% marks for general category or at least 40 % for SC/ST category.
