Pune University formerly University of Poona provides state of art facility for research in Medical degree at post Graduate level. Pune University provides a lot of opportunity for research in PG medical and teaching. It also provides grand hostel library and internet facility. The entrance exam consists of various questions, divided in three sections. Theses sections are timed separately. The total time is 3 hours. The questions are of various skills, such as Quantitative skills, verbal Skills and analytical reasoning.

Application form for PG Medical or MBBS are available from various University counter as well as on the internet. Applicant can download the form and can be mailed to the institute.

Eligibility
The first and foremost eligibility criteria to appear in the examination is that the applicant must be an Indian citizen and should at least 17 years old as on 31st December the respective year. The candidate must pass his or her 10+2 from any recognized university or board with Physics, chemistry, Biology, Maths and English. The candidate must possess 50% marks for general category or at least 40 % for SC/St category.
