Thapar University, Punjab offers B.Tech Courses in Various Disciplines for a full time 4 year degree course. The admission is based on the score of the candidate in the AIEEE conducted by CBSE, Delhi.
50% seats are reserved for the student of the state of Punjab. Candidate seeking admission to Thapar University must apply separately. Admission to this University is not related to AIEEE counseling anyhow.

Information brochure along with the application form can be obtained from the University counter or via post on payment of requisite fees in a demand draft paid in favor of the Registrar, Thapar University, Patiala payable at Patiala. The form can also be downloaded from the website www.thapar.edu.

Eligibility
The candidate must qualify in the AIEEE exam conducted by CBSE. Beside this a minimum score of 60% for general candidates and 55% for SC/ST in aggregate of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biology, Biotechnology / Computer Science at 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board are required to be eligible for admission to the B.Tech degree courses in Thapar University.
