TANCET 2010

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test i.e. is conducted on behalf of Tamil Nadu Government by the Anna University, Chennai. The exam is conducted for the post graduate degree courses like MBA, MTech, ME, MCA, M.Arch and MPlan. Candidates who want to pursue their master’s degree must appear for the TANCET.

Though candidates from the other states can also appear for the entrance exam, but their admissions will completely depend on the eligibility criteria as set by the admitting authority/University.
Sale of application form

Candidates can get the TANCET application form from the 1st week of April till the 3rd week of April either by post (other than Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai)or in person from Co-ordinating Centres and Bank Counters or by Internet Registration.

Submission of application form

The duly filled in application form must reach The Secretary, TANCET, Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai 600 025 by the last week of April after which no forms will be entertained.

Cost of application form

For General candidates: Rs. 300/-
For SC/ST candidates: Rs. 150/-

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must have completed their Graduation from any of the recognized Universities. Final year students are also eligible to appear for the entrance exam.
