UKSEE 2010
Uttarakhand Technical University(UKTU), Dehradun conducts the Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) each year for admission into the various degree courses like Engineering (B.Tech)/ Pharmacy (B. Pharm.)/ Architecture (B. Arch.)/ Hotel Management (BHMCT). The various government and private institutes of the states affiliated to the UKTU admits students based on their performances in UKSEE.
The pattern of the examination is kept to test the knowledge of candidates appearing fo the examination. The test decides the ability of the candidates and thus decides the preference order of the candidates.
The exam is held in the cities of: Almora, Roorkee, Dehradun, Pithoragarh, Pauri, Nainital, Haldwani, Lucknow, New Delhi, and Rudrapur.
Application Form
The OMR application form along with the information Brochure of UKSEE for sale at various post offices from February to March at a cost Of Rs 1000/-. The post offices giving out these forms are Dehradun GPO; Roorkee HO, Kotdwar HO, Haldwani HO, Vikasnagar, Mussoorie, Tallital, Rudrapur, Ramnagar, Chakrota, Bajpur, Kashipur, Haridwar, MDG, Rudraprayag, Gopeshwar, Pauri, Srinagar, Kichha,Tehri, Ranlkhet, Rishikesh, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Doiwala, Pantnagar, Lansdowne, Almora,Khatima and outside of Uttarakhand From Post offices of Luck now GPO, Meerut City HO and New Delhi GPO.
It can also be obtained by post from the Registrar’s office by drawing a draft in favor of Finance Officer, UKTU, payable at Dehradun

Date of UKSEE Examination- Second week of May
Eligibility
The candidate must be a citizen of India. The UKSEE Applicant must possess a higher secondary degree from a recognized board with Physics Chemistry and Maths as major subjects. For B.Arch one needs to clear the NATA with 50 % marks and for PG candidate must have graduate degree from any certified board.
