XAT 2010

Xavier Admission Test or XAT as it is better known is one of the several entrance tests, eagerly waited for by MBA aspirants every year. The test not only allows candidates to get an opportunity to realize their dream of studying MBA, but also allows them to increase their chances of getting admission in several other colleges that recognize the performance of their applicants in XAT. The test is considered highly popular among students interested in studying MBA.

Although most of the things included in XAT is similar compared to other national level MBA entrance exam, a single parameter or rather you can call it a section puts this exam in all altogether different league; and what that section is “essay writing”. Yes! You read me right. The topic can be anything, related to current events of national and international importance, knowledge based, thought based, it could be anything.

Sale of Application form

Application forms are available from 121 branches of the AXIS Bank, and can also be obtained from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Application form submission

Last date for submission of completely filled in application form is 1st week of December.

Cost

The cost of the XAT Bulletin and XLRI prospectus is 800/-.

Courses offered:

Master of Business Administration, Business Management Program, Personal Management and Industrial Relations Program, General Management Program and Executive PG Program.

Important Dates:

The examination is held in the month of January.

Eligibility

Candidates who are interested in appearing for XAT need to be graduates in any discipline from any institute that is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.

Result Declaration:

Last week of January to first week of February.

    I have to appear for the Examination that will be held in Jan’2010. When i try to register, i get a message that registration is closed. can i register in any other way
