XISS 2010
Xavier Institute of Social Service, St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi established in 1955 offers PG programs in management. The aim of the institutes is to train the students on Social Work, Personnel Management, Business Management and Rural Management. The full time two year course is provided in personal management, rural development, information management and MBA in finance and marketing.
Admission is based on the best score scored in XAT (conducted by XLRI, Jamsedhpur) or MAT. This exam contains MCQ type questions. Short listed candidates are called for a round of Group discussion and personal interview.
Application form
Candidates have to obtain the application form from the institute office via post, by person or download from the internet from the XISS’s website. Candidates must indicate their choice and they can opt for a maximum of 4 course. The application for the form via post must accompany a DD of Rs 600 drawn in favor of “Xavier Institute of Social Service” Payable at Ranchi.

Eligibility
A graduate with a complete three year degree course are eligible to apply for the courses in XISS with a minimum of 40 % marks. Students appearing for final year graduation may also apply.
