Biotechnology Colleges In West Bengal

Biotechnology is the study of biology and its application at the molecular level for various purposes like diagnosing and curing human diseases and understanding the functioning of various genes and chemicals in our body. In West Bengal there are many colleges offering the undergraduate (B.Tech and B.Sc Hons.) and post graduate (M.Tech and M.Sc) degree in biotechnology under the guidance of the existing recognized universities.

For Admission to a Biotechnology course in undergraduate level the candidate must pass class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths. For post Graduate degree the candidate must be a graduate from any of the recognized universities in Biotechnology course. There are state of art labs and libraries equipped with latest instruments and books for the students. There are also trained and experienced faculties in the colleges of West Bengal for the guidance of the students. They are also provided with placement assistance in leading companies of the sector with various trainings and guidance.
