Homeopathy Colleges In Uttar Pradesh

Homeopathy is the system of medicine that derives its formulations and diagnosis on the ancient system of curing disease. Uttar Pradesh is a state with a very ancient history that dates back to the Vedic age. Hence Uttar Pradesh state government conducts the degree course in homeopathy. The degree given are BHMS and MD (Hom) and diploma called DHMS. These are full time courses in homeopathy medicine.

Entrance to the course is done by an entrance exam held every year by the responsible authority. The basic requirement for BHMS course are applicants must pass class 12 with physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology as main subject with a minimum of 50% marks. For MD, applicant must be a BHMS graduate. The BHMS is a full time 5 and half years course while DHMS is 4 years course. There are various disciplines to specialize in Homeopathy. This includes Materia Medica, Homoeopathic Philosophy and Repertory, Pediatrics, Medicine, Psychiatry and Pharmacy.

The colleges provide enough opportunities for the student for practical experience. There are nearly 2 lakh practitioner and 850 manufacturing units and the demand is increasing day by day. Hence Homeopathy is a demanding course of study and all the required facilities are available in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
