MBA In Gujarat
Nowadays, MBA is the most assayed of all other fields. Even amidst recession, lay-offs and bankruptcy, MBA stands with its head high and increasing demand. Apart from various other All-India MBA entrance tests held, the Education Department, Govt. of Gujarat, conducts its own entrance exam viz. GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) every year. The bulletin-cum-application form for this entrance needs to be collected and submitted personally from the pre-listed centres, engaged for this purpose. It also avoids the age old postal service or the newly evolved online facility for submission of forms.
The test pattern of this exam is similar to other MBA entrances. It also calls for a written test followed by a group-discussion and a personal interview. The various universities and their affiliated institutions in the state that admit students from this test provides for Two-year Full-Time MBA programme as well as Three-year Evening MBA programme. The major criteria for appearing in this test, like other MBA entrances, include a minimum of 50% score in the bachelor’s degree (10+2+3/11+4 or equivalent) in any discipline recognized by Gujarat University. There are different reservation schemes in different colleges and universities.
