Candidates desirous of pursuing MCA in Tamil Nadu can appear in TANCET which is conducted in the last week of May every year. TANCET is controlled by Anna University on the behalf of Government of Tamil Nadu. With the help of TANCET, candidates can seek admission in MBA, MCA, ME, M. Tech, M.Arch etc. Apart from the government and government aided colleges, many other self financing and private colleges also take admissions based on the rank in TANCET.
The eligibility for the MCA course can be fulfilled by satisfying any of these criteria:-
Candidates must have passed any graduate course of three years duration (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) and should have taken Mathematics or Business Mathematics at +2 level.
Candidates must have passed their graduation in any discipline with of minimum three years duration(10+2+3 or 10+2+4) Mathematics or Statistics as one of their subjects.
Candidates from other states can also apply for this course provided they satisfy the above mentioned conditions. Candidates can avail the facilities of spot registration and also online registration.
